With any changes that are made on your computer, the best course that should always be taken in these changes is asking why they need to be changed. This may be a pain for those that are making the change, but is a good fundamental tool as this is a piece of machinery that more people are growing to depend on for communication, school work, work, and overall information.

Just as someone would not want to work on his or her car or have someone else work on it without knowing what is going on, the same applies to the computer. Both have been seen as tools that are very foreign in their make up and how they work, but both have been seen as items that we need for our way of life. When something breaks, we all like to know why it broke and what can be done to prevent this in the future.

Some places and people will provide a very difficult and lengthy answer, but it is your duty to know what has been done. Otherwise, why are you paying for a program or a service that is fixing something that could break immediately again. This is where gaining the solution is not enough as it is always good to know how to prevent the problem from ever rising again.

An old term is that the computer is only as good as the person that uses it. This is a harsh, but also very true saying. If the person has no base knowledge of what they are doing on the computer and is using programs that are manipulating the back end of the system, it can be no big surprise when something may eventually break. Many people have taken basic classes so that they can have a working knowledge of the computer they have and also how to make it an even more powerful tool than it is already.

So next time you are going to install a program or have someone work on your computer, find out what is happening to your computer and if something does break how this can be fixed. One time of headaches can prevent future ones when they arise. Most of the time these problems are issues that can be dealt with over a period of minutes if the person already is aware of what has happened on the computer that they use.
